Rangko Cave Trip is special tour program to visit Rangko Cave located about 15 kms from Labuan Bajo. To reach this place, we need to drive from Labuan Bajo for about 30 minutes, then continue trip by boat to get the Rangko Beach. And from the beach we need to do trekking for about 20 minutes.
Inside Gua Rangko Cave, we can find a pool filled with brackish water. and we can use this pool to swim or just soak while enjoying the fresh air in the cave.
When the reflection of sunlight enters, the view of the bright blue pool water will look very clean and clear. Conditions in the cave that were previously slightly dark will turn into light because the walls in the cave will reflect sunlight.
Rangko Cave Trip Itinenrary:
- Pick up from hotel in Labuan Bajo (pick up time depend on your request, and the latest time to start at 14.00pm in the afternoon)
- Drive to Rangko Village about 30 minutes from Labuan Bajo.
- On your arrival at Rangko Village, we will take a boat to reach the jetty and gates of Rangko Cave (about 15 minutes on the boat)
- Then from the jetty , we will walk about about 15 minutes to reach Rangko Cave
- Spending time inside the cave with swimming in the pool, take pictures of stalagtites and stalagmites, etc
- Then get back to the jetty and heading to Rangko Village where our driver is waiting.
- Drive back to Labuan Bajo
- On the way, we will stop by at Bukit Amelia, where we can see the view of Labuan bajo city from the Hill.
- Then drive to your hotel in Labuan Bajo.
